Billy Morstad ’12
From our President Tom Doyle ’01
I am happy to announce that Saints has hired Billy Morstad ’12 to be the Alumni Relations Coordinator. Finding the right person for the position of Alumni Relations Coordinator was a heavy task that Saints took on and I think they found a great candidate for the role. In meeting with Billy I can tell that he is excited to get back on campus, be involved with the campus community and work with the Alumni Association to continue our mission of keeping the Alumni engaged with the Saints Community. We have a number of projects and ideas we are working on so Billy could not be coming on board at a better time. I would like to thank Casey Callery and the President’s Office for asking the Alumni Association for input on interview questions and position expectations, we appreciate being part of the process.
From Billy:
“Growing up, St. Augustine wasn’t just the high school I hoped to attend after middle school. Saints was where my brothers went. It was the hoodie I wore in second grade. It was Friday night games after flag football practice in 2006. Saints, as a school and as an experience, has played a major role in my life. It was four of the best years a young man can ask for. It was a place that cultivated some of my best friendships. It’s a source of pride in my life today. I love all the things Saints was for me and I’m beyond ecstatic to carry on this love in my role as Alumni Relations Coordinator. Being an alumnus isn’t always about remembering what WAS but rather it’s being passionate about what WILL BE. Four years as a student, a lifetime as an alumnus. Can’t wait to get started.
UNITAS. VERITAS. CARITAS. “
