September 9th 2024. Malihini out of H&M Landing with 27 Alumni, Family & Friends. Beautiful day to get on the water with the incredible heatwave San Diego was experiencing. While off shore had been a barren desert for the past month or so we saw tons of life with Dorado, Yellowtail and even Yellowfin on multiple paddies. We threw bait, irons, sinker rigs and tried multiple approaches with the boat to no avail as there is simply too much bait in the ocean right now and the fish didn’t want to eat.
Jackpot winner with a beauty of a Yellowtail was Marcos Britsch and special thanks to Joey and Squidco for their support!
It was still a great day on the water with beautiful weather, great conversation, a few beers and boat burgers. Till next year….
