Hundreds of St Augustine High students, alumni and friends gathered on November 26th to participate in the annual Turkey Trot. Runners lined up to a familiar course that started on the football track, preceded to the “Juniper Dip” and wrapped back around to campus for a finish line in front of the bell tower in the middle of campus. At the finish line to greet the weary runners were none other than Halo Joe, and Tom Turkey. For their efforts, this year’s runners received a tee shirt, a turkey pot pie and a bottle of Gatorade, once successfully crossing the finish line.
